"Call for Ice Carvers"

The Chester Winter Carnivale is inviting Ice Carvers to participate in the 2008 18th Annual Chester Winter Carnivale Ice Carving Competition, Sunday February 17, 2008 from 11 - 3.

Registration required by February 4, 2008.

When: Sunday February 17, 2008

Check In: 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM
One Main Street (Century 21 Heritage Co.) Lower Level Entrance
Breakfast will be provided.

Carving Competition: 11:00 AM - 1:30 PM

Lunch will be provided for Carvers while judging is taking place.

Prizes and awards will be presented as soon as judging is complete.

A panel of professional judges will select the winning sculptures based on artistic merit, degree of difficulty and best use of materials. Three hundred pound (300lb.) blocks of ice will be provided - carvers may not use their own ice. To register, a non refundable registration fee of $15.00 plus $40.00 for ice (total of $55.00) must be paid in advance with the completed registration form no later than February 4, 2008.
