SAY WHAT is a young (ages 11, 12, and 14) Blues/Rock band from Chester, CT. They will be performing from 12:30-1:30pm at the Nilsson Studio & Gallery during the 18th Annual Chester Winter Carnivale. SAY WHAT formed in June 2007 just to jam, but after having a spot at the River Dog Music Festival, they got serious about their playing. Since then, they have performed in contests, at festivals, parties and charity events, and have amassed a collection of covers, with songs by Jimi Hendrix, Cream, the Beatles, Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Who, The Allman Brothers, and more; as well as several originals. Recently, they earned 2nd Place at the Battle of the Bands Competition at Valley Regional High School in Deep River. They are working on recording their first CD.
