Ice Carving Competition

Dear Carver:

Chester Winter Carnivale, LLC invites you to participate in the
19^th Annual Ice Carving Competition!!!

Where: Chester Village, Chester, CT (Route 9 South to Exit 6)

When: Sunday February 15, 2008

Check In/Set Up:   8:30 AM to 10:00 AM

One Main Street (Century 21 Heritage Co.) Lower Level Entrance

Breakfast will be provided.

Carving Competition: 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM

Lunch will be provided for Carvers while judging is taking place.

Prizes and awards will be presented as soon as judging is complete.

A panel of professional judges will select the winning sculptures based on artistic merit, degree of difficulty and best use of materials. Three hundred pound (300lb.) blocks of ice will be provided - carvers may not use their own ice. Prize money will be awarded to 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place winners. To register, a non refundable registration fee of $15.00 plus $40.00 for ice must be paid in advance with the completed registration form no later than February 6, 2008.
